Jeremy Hiah has been involved in the arts since 1993. His works are based on social systems in which one lives.
He was an active organizer and member of The Artists Village and Sculpture Society Singapore. He established Your MOTHER gallery in 2004 (Singapore) as its artistic director. He also initiated a performance art festival for young performance artists named Fetter-Field Performance Art Event in 2006 and 2012. From 2011 to 2016, Jeremy Hiah has also assumed the role of artistic director of the Pulau Ubin Artists Residency Program.
Out of Singapore, Jeremy has visited Germany, Italy, Austria (for UNESCO Artists In Residency Vienna), Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, Thailand and China for exhibitions and residencies. Commentary

A sound performance art. A dual person performance using handmade acoustic telephone and both of us will wear a look-a-like speaker on the head. We will move around with this in the gallery, bedroom, veranda and kitchen, trying to communicate or try to listen to each other.
